We have begun to meet again in our church building for services, but due to coronavirus our service pattern has changed. We are currently meeting on Sundays at 10.30 in person (booking essential) and on Zoom, as well as on Wednesdays at 10.30. There is more information in our Vicar Ben’s latest letter about upcoming services and you can check out videos of past services and talks here.
Morning service, 10:30am
A family-friendly service with a mixture of modern songs and well known hymns. A children’s group for ages 0-11 meets each Sunday, apart from the first Sunday of the month, which is an all age service. There is an opportunity to get to know one another after the service over tea and coffee.
Evening service, 6pm
A quieter, more traditional service. The minister normally wears robes and the music is usually well-known hymns.
First Sunday – Memorial Service (to remember those we have loved and lost)
Second Sunday – Holy Communion with prayer for Healing
Third Sunday – Evening Worship
Fourth Sunday – Holy Communion
Book of Common Prayer
Wednesdays, 10:30am / 1st Sunday of the month, 8am
No hymns, just space to be quiet, still and focus on what Jesus has done for us, with the help of the wonderful language of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. There is an opportunity to get to know one another over tea and coffee after the Wednesday morning service.
